Tina came to our attention when we learned that this Ironman Triathlete who is always in some form of intense training began asking if we could provide her Island Boost in gallon jugs. This former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps is not only an athletic champion, but a true champion of Island Boost. She was an Island Boost Ambassador in 2013 and we couldn’t believe what a beast she is. She would trek down to the beach and tell people if they wanted to attain the caliber of athleticism as she exhibits, they need to train and fuel the way she does. She’d share a packet with fellow triathletes, give some to friends at the gym, and brought many new converts to the brand!
Tired of the limited number of retailers carrying the new produce, she demanded her local Endurance House store in San Diego carry Island Boost. At their grand opening, she wanted to be there, but it conflicted with one of her long training days. So she brought her bike, propped it up, set up a table for people to try samples of Island Boost and she rode her bike for seven hours to demonstrate how, when and why she uses Island Boost.
In February of this year, she trekked from San Diego to the headquarters of Sport Chalet to speak with the lead buyer of sports nutrition products. She told them she’s not an employee of Island Boost, NO! She’s there to tell them why they need to carry it. After meeting with her, they agreed.
She is truly always in Beast Mode! Wonderful, powerful, tough, incredible Beast Mode.
